So far I’m really digging Ubuntu and how easy it is to customize, and I especially love that there are quite a few ways to free up space. There also seems to be no end in suggestions on what to do when first starting out.
Now that I have Ubuntu installed AND customized, it’s time to boot it up and follow A step by Step Guide to Install Tensorflow GPU on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. We’re finally back on track!
….and then I went to change my primary display monitor AND THE ENTIRE THING FROZE AND NOW I CAN’T GET INTO SYSTEM OPTIONS AND OMFG WHYYYYY
So now I’m just trying everything blindly because I know NOTHING ABOUT THIS OS. I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR 15 MINUTES 0_0 ……So I’m just gonna quit for tonight. Yup. That’s it for me. I’M OUT
After a nice night’s sleep, I decided that I would once again start all over. My new ssd comes in today (thanks Amazon Prime!) so I’m going to remove Ubuntu, install the new ssd, clone my current ssd to the new one, and then finally reinstall Ubuntu. And while I’m at it, I’m going to consider revisiting Project Hackintosh because I’m just a glutton for punishment apparently. Wish me luck!
I try to keep my personal life out of this blog since it’s mostly a place for me to remind my future self what I did on a tech project, but I’m going to break that rule because I’m way too excited about this.
I proposed to my girlfriend over the weekend and SHE SAID YES!!!!!😁😁😁 Can you believe someone wants to spend the rest of their life with this cat nerd??????????? 😁😁😁 She’s such a healthy and positive influence on me, I’m so excited to annoy her with technology the rest of our lives! 💕💕💕
